difference between German and Swiss German P1

1- Some times Swiss people tend to replace the letter ( L ) with ( U ) …

for example :

( Stop ) means ( Halt ) in german and pronounced as ( Haut ) in swiss-german.

( Ball ) means ( Ball ) in german and pronounced as ( Bau ) in swiss-german.


2- Swiss german have different ways to pronounce the letter ( E ) as pronounced in the movie.

for example:

( TV ) means ( fernseh ) in swiss-german.

( Palm ) means ( Palme / Paume ) in swiss-german.


3- Swiss people don’t speak as clear as germans.


4- Swiss people don’t pronounce the whole word… just like English speakers do.

for example :

( It ) means ( Es / äs ) in swiss-german.

( It is not my problem! ) means ( äs isch nid miss problem! ) in swiss-german.


5-

( You ) means ( Dir ) in swiss-german.

( What did you do? ) means ( Was their dir gmacht? ) in swiss-german.


6- Swiss people don’t speak as soft as german.

for example :

( What are you doing? ) means ( Was machsch? ) in swiss-german.
